The Goop Files

Day 1:

I started this company to keep track of various substances that have suddenly appeared. We have decided to name these goop, as they seem to be very similar to slime because of their viscosity and texture. For now, we have only found a singular type of goop, which is a naturally occuring slime, made out of the same things as other slimes. Even though we have not discovered any other slimes, we suspect that there are more of these substances around the world.

Day 5:

We have found another goop, which we decided to name explosive goop. This type of goop is close to areas that have recently been exposed to any types of explosions, which is quite weird, because this goop is mostly made of 1-diazidocarbamoyl-5-azidotetrazole, and because of this, we think that this could be because of the environment that the goop is exposed to. We managed to capture this goop quite easily, but as soon as we accidentally knocked a metal water bottle, it exploded, so, after getting some more, we decided to play a slightly less loud sound, and after properly protecting some personel, when they tried to touch it from far away, the goop exploded, which makes us think that either the goop is activated with noise, or it can sleep, which would mean it has a mind.

Day 6:

Really close to the explosive type of goop, which is made out of chlorine trifluoride, so we decided to name this goop the flammable goop. This goop was likely flammable either because of the place, or the explosive goop, which is probably why they were so close, but we will see what we find in the future.

Day 10:

Time and time again, we have tried to study the normal goop, but each time we try to do so, the goop moves away, and because of this, we cannot see the molecular structure of the goop, this could be because it is scared, so we are going to try again when it sleeps.

Day 12:

We have tried other methods of studying it, and finally, when we used a decibel meter, after leaving the goop completely alone, it went off, so now we know it can make sound, and possibly communicate with other goops.

Day 13:

We put the normal goop and flammable goop separately in the same room as yesterday, and left a decibel meter not visible to the goops before putting them in, and we actually caught them communicating, well, at least it seems like they talked to each other. The camera saw the goop slightly move as the decibel meter went off, and they also seemed exchange sounds, which is most probably the two goops communicating, but we still can’t figure out what they are saying, so next time we will put an audio recorder next to the decibel meter.
